AND LOWER FEES The Thursday nite committee
has decided to lower the normal fees for playing Thursday league, please note the new changes, and also remember the side
pots are always optional and can be paid BEFORE play begins on each Thursday. To all BRMC members interested in playing in the
Thursday night league play:Once again the time is sneaking up on us to be thinking about
Thursday night league play. We are trying to
change the way that everyone pays this year, in the past it has become an accounting nightmare trying to keep track of all
the payments each week and to make sure everyone is credited each week for payment.We
would like to ask that all players participating, if they would pay in advance. Based on the last two years of play there have been 26 teams, which means 13 weeks of play, the following would be the
costs: $40 (one time) to join men’s club/OGA.
$ 40 $30 (one time charge) for Thursday night league--------------$
30 This fee is divided between the top 4 winning teams after playoffs. $5 weekly play @ 13 weeks -------------------------------------$65 $5
(optional) side game each week-----------------------------$ 65
TOTAL $200 We would ask that these fees be
paid no later than April 1st so that we can put schedules together to be ready to play around mid April.If you wish to pay by Visa or MasterCard, we have made arrangements thru the pro shop to accept payment.
When you make a payment just place in envelope, be sure and mark what you are paying for, along with your name on it, and
place it in the locked men’s club box in the pro shop.If you have never joined
us for Thursday night league play and wish to, grab a partner and come join us in the fun. Please keep in mind this is basically
a 13 week commitment, if you are unable to play on a specific week, it is your responsibility to find a substitute. We will
try to have a list of subs located in Pro shop.
New officers and new executive committee members for the 2011 Big River Mens Club were
elected at the first mens club meeting held Wednesday, January 19th. The Men's Club in cooperation with Big River Golf
Course is looking forward to a new and exciting 2011season. The men's club will be holding monthly meetings throughout
the year and all men's club members are encouraged to attend and make their voice heard. A meeting schedule will be
posted as soon as it becomes available. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas, please contact your mens club
representatives listed at the top of the page!
